haha sorry for the confusion!! i speak engrish well
what i'm getting at is when you put the two guillotines back together with the pencils (1,2, and 3 respectively), which way does it go back into the engine? #1 to the top (as in up towards the top of the block)or 2? or does it even matter?

on closer inspection it appears that its #1 that is the top one and now that i read it there is an upper and lower valve.
thanks anyways :)

Not to hijack the thread but also got a question about the RAVE valves. I also recently replaced the valve piece aka piece number 1 and when I screwed it back into the assembly I just eye balled it to make sure it would slide back into the motor block. Is there a way to tell that its exactly flat in there or do I just have to start the motor and pin it a few times and see if they scrape when opening and closing? When I slid the assembly back in it went in smoothly but just want to make sure while theres a post on the topic and to prevent any issues that could occur. Oh and this is not on the xrs motor, its just the 800 HO.

Yes, it only fits in one way.

From what I could tell when I did mine it either slides in or it doesn't, there is no way to botch it up if you insert the whole assembly at the same time.
