raptors triple rate

Just got back from my first ride with them. I have '12 shocks with '13 valving and raptor triple rate springs. So far so good, but need more time to give a thorough report.

shocks

the pro is in need of shocks really bad imho, my 11 was terrible and so for my 13 i ordered this kit, its installed and ready to ride (installation was really easy) just need snow, its the cheap option for a sure but $300 vs $2000 ill try it, maybe not the best solution but its gotta help, it already feels much softer. if you have questions jake is a great guy and will answer any questions you have, but if you have the money to burn i would get the shocks

The springs are a good upgrade for the money. I did a shock revalve last year and while it helped it wasn't great. The springs would have really helped but then I would have been $1300 into just a good upgrade.. For another $700 I would have had the Raptors. IMHO, the Raptors are a HUGE improvement. The springs and revalve just better. If you can spend the $2000 do it and be SUPER happy!

Ordered the firm springs, on the fence on re-valve?? Jake said some do some dont. Maybe someone can chime in who has tried it both ways and what the re-valve would do better.

I don't think Jake even offers a revalve for the factory shocks, does he? Its either springs or the full enchilada. I personally decided to do the springs this year, and if i like the sled and the springs, but still need more, i'll step up to the shocks next year. Big bucks, but a pretty wicked package and worth the clink I understand.

TRS Springs

I thought I would chime in and bring you guys up to speed as to where we’re at on valving the WER shocks. Due to the poor riding conditions most of last season and all the other product development we had on our plate we simply didn’t get our Walker packages done. We did however spend some time on our spring kits for the WER package and they’re a nice stop gap between stock and a full on shock package and feedback has been very positive from the guys that purchased them last year for their 2012 Pro’s. As far as where we’re at on valving we ran several laps on our Biomass track here throughout the summer with several different setups and I like what I see but until we white glove it on snow I feel it’s better to wait and have it dialed prior to releasing it to the consumer. This kit has several different internal components so it’s not your run of the mill re-valve and if I like what I see on snow my best guess is it will be complete early 2013 and if we can’t make it work to our expectations we simply won’t offer it. If you have questions let us know. Thanks Jake

That right there is QUALITY. Thank you for caring about the consumer. I wish all companies would follow your lead!

I did a kmod with raptors and raptors on th front and it's honestly one of the best mods I have done. It rides so smooth now. And side hilling across a rutted out hill is so much easier now, just soaks everything up. Spend the extra on the shocks, you won't regret it. I had the assault shocks on mine before and these are ten times better
