Raptor Shocks - Need the real scoop

I am looking at putting Raptor shocks in my 2013 PRO RMK 163 and was looking for some real life examples of how these actually work. My primary desire for them, is to get a smoother ride in the whoops, to and from the POW.

The price tag is really high and before I drop that kind of coin, I want to make sure these are going to be worth it.

Thanks!!

:yo:

Did you call Jake and talk to him? Kinda seems like the first step in the process. How about calling up KMOD dude and talk to him?

The whoops really shine with the Raptors. They also help in rutted out snow. I usually only have the clickers set at 6 through the whoops and they still kill the stock evans. I'm sure they would really rock if I set the clickers at 12 or more through the whoops. These shocks get rid of that pogo stick feel. They are also nice on big jumps. I ponied up and bought them and haven't looked back. Best investment I made on this sled other than airframes.

I heard that stock is the best and high end shocks like raptor and exits are just a waist of money. Thats why soooooo many people run them (EXITS AND RAPTORS) and rave how great they are.......

EDITED MY POST JUST TO BE CLEAR ON MY SARCASM

No - since they are selling the products, I didn't think they'd tell me if they weren't worth the sweet moolah....

I was looking for real world experiences....

I may have missed some of those threads, but I hear the PRO handles like a bich on the trail.

We did a 600 Pro for a customer with Raptors and the full Kmod skid. He wanted a smooth ride and was less concerned with climbing. The ride is exceptional, no comparison to stock. We left out the transfer blocks completely to get the best ride possible. This was the first shock/skid setup I have ever been truly impressed with, pound through the whoops and it never god out of control and didn't kick or bottom. I don't think anyone would be unhappy going this route. Never did Raptors on the stock skid so I can't say how well that would compare.
