Raptor shock

So I talked to the western Rep up at the Jackson hill climbs and he was telling me the mono tube shock that they are putting on the 18 is better than the WE clicker. Has anyone heard if they are going to a Raptor shock? That is all he would say about they, so I would really like to know before finalizing my snowcheck.

POLARIS, if you are reading this please let us know what the difference is.

Well as promising as that sounds, I highly doubt that the shock package on the 2018's will be any different then what is listed. They are listed as WE monotube or the WE clickers, so I doubt they would show up with Raptors. That being said, there could be a possibility that the WE shocks have been updated for 2018????

I hope that is not the case because i just snowchecked and upgraded to the clickers...first time ever upgrading shocks but figured I would give it a go this year.

Just an FYI . . . those WE clicker shocks, along with Carls shock re-valve, combined with the Raptor Triple rate springs are nothing short of AMAZING!! Used this combo all season.

So was the clicker shock upgrade price + revalve + spring price cheaper or comparable to a set of aftermarket shocks? Just curious.

I was going to go with clickers also this year but after talking to the Rep. in Jackson I went with mono tube. I asked him twice and he said yes there will be a redesigned mono tube that is better then the current clicker. I hope so being that I'm staying with the mono tube.

My understanding talking to rep at Jackson was the mono was getting better valving....Not sure where you got raptors from????? Wishfully thinking????:face-icon-small-ton

When i got the LE version of the 2017 snowcheck, the clickers came with it. So you could compare the price to add the clickers to your current snowcheck choice this year, then add the re-valve of about $500 +/-, then the TRS springs for $280 ( i think), and see what that total is . . .then get some pricing for the aftermarket shocks of your choice. That should get you some fairly solid numbers to be able to compare and see what direction is best for you . . . and your wallet :)
