How do you know the right belt tension?(Rapid Reaction) Will it effect max RPMs?

Belt should ride near an 1/8" above the sheaves.

Straight edge across top of belt, push down on belt, 3/4" is the spec deflection. I run my a little tighter just loose enough that the sled doesn't creep or squeal when at operating temp.

I thought I read in the manual that it's supposed to be 1-1/4"?
