Radiator Question for 2011 800 RMK Assault

Just bought this sled and noticed their is no hose connected to the plastic radiator fluid reservoir located just down from the cap on the right hand side of it. There is a nipple sticking out that looks like there was once a hose connected. Thanks for any help since the nearest service is 2 hours away.

Mine is the same. Its there, just not drilled out. Assuming they use the same motor/bottle throughout a range of sled models, maybe one uses that connection. That was my best guess.

That connection is the return for the front bypass cooler on the Standard RMK.

It's for a return to the surge bottle from a front bulkhead cooler on 'standard' RMK's and Switchback Assaults. No used on the Pro or Rush.
