Radiator delete

I'm running a 2.5 inch track and I need more clearance around the drivers so I want to delete the radiator.

Does anybody know of any kits out there????

Are you referring to the bulkhead tunnel cooler? And would really help to what sled your talking about.

Its on a 08 Nytro with a 174 X 2.5 track and I want to delete the bulkhead cooler. the one just in front of the drivers

VE makes one, I have it on my sled. That being said it is the most un professional overpriced part on my sled. The cooling piping that is sold with it is horrible and I ended up doing all my own. No instructions and nothing drilled. My vote would go for Terra alps mod, it only makes sense since no matter what you do you have to run coolant across there somehow you might as well use it to your advantage. Yes the 2.5 does clear fine, but you cant have too much Clarence. If you have the cooling system to support deleting it why not?

take the cooler out and CR will mod it and put it back in. thats what they do to fit 3" in the nytro's and you wont have cooling problems!! just a question though why the 2.5 fits in there mint about 1/4 to spare?

Yeah 2.5" is not an issue in the Nytro...hundreds of them on sleds...

Thats odd because I have been riding your old sled and when i get in to any kind of powder I get a vibration in the foot well and its fine down the trail

Others have said the same thing I did...

There are lots of things it could be...could be track is loose and hitting rail caps in the powder, could be bearings in rear wheels, could be drivers caught something, could be track alignment, could be some loose clips, could be......

You asked.... people are merely trying to help, as I am trying to help....

just got back from the Snowys, and ran a 162x16x2-1/2" new style CE
thought it worked pretty well for the first trip west on it

the vibe is the track hitting the rail caps in the powder. think about where the snow is coming in contact with the track!! then think about where its contcting on the trail!! tighten the track a little and the vibe will go away. its not because of to big of lugged track!!
