not to cause a gong show of a thread or anything but how do you tell if you are aracist or if you just have a strong dislike for a certain race of people?

my wife and I were.....well having a discussion and the topic came up. Albeit after I made a certain comment about a certain race of people...

I pretty much hate lazy, stupid, trash people. Like the emotionally crippled, hard core drug users, communist, socialist, won't help themselves types, you know. Doesn't make any difference to me, what you look like. Best friends have always been hard working people, with a sense of personal responsibility.
