Rabbit Ears Snow Conditions

The Ears and Buff sound safe from tickets so long as their is enough snow. At least one person has called the FS to confirm is what I read else where. If you want to confirm for yourself just give the FS a call.

We went up last Sunday and there was probably 5-6 trucks in the lot and probably a dozen sleds out riding around.

All of the ground was covered, 10-24", by this weekend i think we will be over the 15" mark in all places and shouldn't have to worry about tickets. We didn't see any cops last weekend.

Not enough snow to get crazy over but fun to get out and make sure everything is working right.

4 of us will be up there Sat and Sun.

Love to meet up with some of the people from the forum.

I was up there last Saturday. Down low was mediocre and up top was much better but still pretty thin. But any snow at all this time of year is welcomed. I found spots with feet of snow, not inches. But a few more weeks yet before we see the good stuff.

I was up Sunday, was expecting more than there was. But I guess anything rideable right now is good. We may try buff saturday

Rode RE again yesterday.. in a wide open field beaten on by the sun all day measured 16".. but we stuck on the high side in the trees all day which was mostly around thigh deep... i did watch and help a guy who pinned it up a face hit a rock and tore an a arm and shock.. so, its rideable, u just need to know where to go
