Rabbit Ears SNOTEL #709

So whats the deal with SNOTEL...is it up? States 13 inches at Rabbit Ears and shows a picture of the station with not even a hint of the white stuff. Then you have people commenting that there is 2 feet plus up by Buff.

Whats the skinny?

I believe that the photo is just a file photo, not a real time current immage.

Yeah, I kinda figured the same thing but then I dismissed that because they had today's date right next to it in that section the picture is positioned in. Haha, ultimately I am hoping there is more snow than 13 inches. Hell we had that in Castle Rock for a few days. Last Thanksgiving weekend ride was a real decent one. Probably not this time around

Since you live the closest, can you just go up there and take a picture of the snow depth for us, so everyone can see how sketch the riding still is. If it was go to go there would be a million pictures and videos. Thanks PJ

atleast the temps in Routt are staying below 32, so no love loss if ya know what i mean..

drove over RE tonite...it looked like August up there.....
