Rabbit Ears 1/8/09

Chances are we won't even be able to get in. CDOT usually doesn't even plow the lot until Friday. They only plow the skier parking everyday, go figure!:rolleyes:

But we can hope. I'm gonna try to be there by 10am or so. Big black F250 with a 2 place enclosed trailer

you will probably see a red GMC pulling a white 4 place enclosed....black dragon and stock dragon. we will probably be up there fairly early. give us a wave.

I am gonna go. Will go to the mc lot first then dumont. have snowmark, wss and pj's cell. Will call to hope to connect. Blue RAM.

I am leaving as soon as my ol' man gets his ars up here so I can fill out his f-ing paperwork. I told him that I was in a hurry and to be here by 8:30am. Still not here! Damn old people!:mad:

Fellas lets get some pics up from today for those of us that have to work a normal job that can't take time off during the week...hehe... Enjoy it for the rest of us working stiffs...

Where we went there was at least 32" of fresh, but it was HEAVY and STICKY!, made for some tough going and one of the guys I was with shelled a couple of belts. I put on 35 miles, 1 tank of oil and 1 tank of gas. 30 of those miles were throttle to the handlebars at 8200rpm the whole way.

Pics? That sounds perfect!! Bring on the snow...

Here's a pic from today. Snow was actually disappointing, instead of the fluff I thought was going to be there it was concrete...

Yep, it was pretty sticky! Better than a kick in the azz though. That 30+" did a lot to cover up the land mines so it did some good.

Yep concrete, sleds worked hard today definately need MORE snow, I seen some destructive items I've never seen up there before, we still got 45 miles in and were rolling out by 2... Here are some pics..

Missed ya, I was a tad late as I was helping my Dad. I rolled into the lot about 10:15 or so and I couldn't find you guys. Maybe next time.

I saw a lot of people sitting around... Snow was definitely sticky

Are those drops from the "wedgie" booter? I bet the "couch" could have reached 100mph prior to launch in that snow, huh:D

That's more like a "camp trailer":D Another tree well huh? I bet that monster was a little tougher to dig out than the shorty, eh? I'm looking forward to "training" with you and Mike some more. I gotta live up to the fancy stickers on my sled:face-icon-small-win
