I can't believe it. I just saw Chad a week ago. I'll miss pulling into Chester Mtn. Sports to have a beer and shoot the **** with Chad. He was an awesome guy. Almanor won't be the same without him. Rest in peace Chad.

This has been on my mind all day! I had seen it in the shout box on WCS on vacation and had to try and get into the threads with my cell phone.
I'm back home now and just want to give some thoughts and prayers to the family.
Thanks to the Snowmobile family and Anthony for having those parties (where i first met Chadd) so we can meet fine people like Chadd!
I know I enjoyed his humor and even tagged his Team Peanut Gallery.
I had to go through my email and look and here is one i would like to share...

What a tremendous loss to our snowmobiling community, a man that was so generous and knowledgable........always made an effort to help someone who needed it and was creative with his ideas on how to make the hobby better, whether that meant more horsepower or a cross country race or the latest and baddest products just out......My son and I sat beside him at Tantardino's just last thursday nite for dinner and enjoyed his enthusiasm, and of course that grin and belly laugh combination that made you smile every time........he was liked by sooooo many, and was the connection between so many differen't snowmobile groups that it must have been difficult trying to be so much to so many people with all those questions about what they should do to their sled next year to get ahead of their buddies..........and get to the top. Thank you Chad for making my life a better place, you will be greatly missed..........for a very long time. R.I.P.

Chadd, was the best man I knew. Since he moved to Chester he brought a smile to my face everytime I talked to him or saw him. I can thank Chadd for being such a great friend and intorducing my to snowmobiling and meeting all his great friends he rode with. I miss you already buddy. See you again someday

I only got to know Chadd over the phone being his sales rep for WPS. He was always nice and you could tell he was smiling over the phone. Chadd thanks for making my days better! I hope you up there with endless pow! R.I.P!

I didn't know Chad personaly but every time we went into the store he was very helpfull.There were times we brought in a broken sled after closing and he would do his best to get it runnig.He will be missed by everyone who new him.

I just want to send my deepest regrets to Chads family, I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great friend that had vast amounts of knowledge and experience. I rode dirt bikes with chad and never had the pleasure of snowmobiling with him. If he's anything like was on two wheels, I'm sure he was definitely capable. We rode single track and, for a big guy, he was on it. You never had to look back for Chad, he was on your a**. I bought a bike from Chad, ordered many parts and picked his brain for free often, and I've never dealt with such a fair and honest guy. Loveable and happy is how I would discribe him and always willing to help.

Went to the funurel today and am impressed by the words of his good friends. I didd'nt know him as well but I totally feel your loss. He will definitely be missed by our small comminity. Good guys like Chad are rare and precious and it really hurts to lose them.

I would personaly like to THANKS all that attended the funeral WOW what a great turnout it was great to see how many people came to support all friends and family and just to say goodbye to a HELL of a MAN. For everyone that knew chadd all I can say is please do not forget this man he was a great loss and I hope that he is talked about forever he deserves it. This loss in my life is the hardest one I have had to deal with a week later I still cant believe he is gone if makes me feel sick to my stomach and I am sure I think about him a 1000 times a day. Thanks to Jeff for the amazing work he did on the slide show so to all out there please if you see jeff aka King of the Hill please tell him THANKS he did a great job. He took time out of his life to go down to chadds mom and dads house to put that slide show together and he deserves many thanks and hugs. His parents were in tears telling me what he did that meant to world to them. So to King thank you thank you thank you thank you I know I have said it a million times and I plan to say it a million more. Norcalstew thanks for the kind words to read stuff like that makes each day a little easier.....Speaking at his funeral was one of the hardest things I have had to do but it was a proud moment in my life to honor a good man like Chadd.. Once again thanks to all....Kris AKA Smasher.

Smash...you and AO did a great job at the service. I was actually crying more from laughter than sadness and I know Chadd would have wanted it that way. Although the circumstances that brought us all back together Friday were tragic...it was so good to see all of you, the sleds and share in Chadd's memory together.

Remember a couple of years ago (I think B4 he got the shop) that Timmy was having some problems w/ his sled. Chadd go my ## from somebody (AO maybe) & called me w/ some helpful tips to ge it going!! He was a great guy & will be deeply missed!!

I wasn't sure what all the ramifications were for this site yet hence not much posting.... Smash what can I say..... it was a duty my friend to all of you guys and the family..... I wasn't as close as all of your were to Chadd but have enough of my own fond memories and rides/trips to feel the vacancy..... Hell Romper Room was a saga all in its own. I am VERY APPRECIATIVE of the opportunity to have the intimate time that I did with his family putting this together with Jesse, Steve, Dustin and Jeanine ( I am sure I slaughtered the spelling) there was a ton of creative scanning going on LOL!!! I wish there were more time.... god only more time..... but thanks to J-Lowe for hanging by the phone, I guess I could just keep babbling..... I am glad it worked and I know he was laughing with us
