quiet mufflers

speedwerx site blog says 800ho can 11 lbs lighter and 6 db quieter anyone seen or used 1 yet? also rumor has it d+d will be selling silent tech for cf and m series???

not a whole lot of info. if its as quiet as stock or close or in speedwerx case quieter and loses ten + pounds if it doesnt lose power im all for it.the trail nazis around here frown on loud exhaust. some have opted for the if it aint stock its ilegal since they dont have access to db meter to prove its too loud so i cant and dont want louder but lighter and no loss in power sounds good

Speedwerx makes some of the best products for AC and i have had a couple different full setups from them on diffrent sleds and they always fit, sound, and perform top notch, just my .02

It's good to see the quiet cans without a sacrifice in power.

Not sure of actual numbers, but the ultra-q is very quiet as well.

I have a speedwerx tunnel dump can on my 09 m1000 and sitting at the bottom of a hill, you can hardly hear it due to the snow muffling the exhaust. Very quiet, very beneficial and still loses about 10 pounds

Did you mean quiet?

I'm definitely interested in companies making quiet aftermarket cans!! :) This has been long overdue, and it'll be nice to know where to look when I do get a new sled. Weight loss and quiet, can't go wrong there. :beer;

wieght loss is always good and if this is the real deal as far as being quiet they will probably have a hard time keeping up with demand. loud pipes lose trails and the snowmobile way of life is coming under fire from all directions and this is a step in the right direction.dont get me wrong, a piped sled sounds awesome but it doesnt belong on the trails disturbing everyone everywhere you ride.
