quick oil cap fix?

ready to leave on last trip of the year, just noticed the oil cap is cross threading on the oil tank...i know there is a sleve to correct this but i need a quick fix now and dealer doesn't have any caps in stock. any ideas?

Clean threads and put a few wraps of electrical tape on the reservoir threads.....wrapping clockwise.

might get the oil reservoir cap sleeve next time

If no tape handy stick a couple layers of plastic grocery bag (or some other thin plastic) on top of the neck with enough excess to cover the threads and a bit more. Thread the cap on.....take it back off and cut the underside of the plastic for the breather valve in the cap. Ghetto but works great.

My oil tank was partially collapsed because I forgot to give it some air
