Quick D to C3

Sneaky

Heres a few sneak peaks of the C3 upgrade drive for the 2013 Pro RMK's...

Choices of gearing, Gates Carbon belt and tensioner assembly.

More to come I'm sure.

That to me seems to be the best of the best for options to change from the stock belt drive. Especially for the $. Anything else out there? C3 seems to make very good quality stuff and not over priced.

I see cmx has one. Anybody run theirs?

buddy of mine ordered a CMX kit $2100 but includes there jackshaft and there ONE piece drive shaft, drivers, bearings etc. kit looks very clean and excited to see how it performs compared to stock, should have it in and installed this week, will post a report and pics when more info is known...check out this video if any one is woundering witch route to go, i know where my money is going!

fast forward to 8 min mark for the goods on the drive system

$1000.00 difference? No thanks, my thoughts are the c3 is every bit as good or better. Just see doubling down on a sales pitch.

i like the C3 also just waiting to see how things pan out with the cmx system and what poo comes out with for 2014. if they dont change the drive shaft and belt system i will most deff go after market. i like that the cmx has a solid drive shaft and moves the break to the drive shaft. ... ever break hard on your stock setup and skip cogs? i have and when you hear/feel it it dosnt put a good feeling in your head.

This is a step in the right direction but the problem with the C3 is that it does not replace the driveshaft like the CMX does. one of the biggest problems i found with the polaris drive system is the runout on the 3 piece bonded driveshaft. putting the C3 pulley on a polaris driveshaft with runout is not solving anything. You will still have a "loose-tight" belt. If you have a nice true driveshaft then you will be ok, but its the luck of the draw.

Talked to a guy with one on his stock 163 xp, think a 2011 or 2012. He said hands down best mod he's done. Is not doing anything else to the sled engine wise.

I think the pricing will be close to the iq and xp/ xm ones. The doo ones just drivers, belt, and tensioner assembly. This one looks the Same but more machining behind the tensioner assembly compared to a flat plate.

The C3?

Def some good points. JMO but the cmx kit looks cleaner and very well from a visual perspective, and the machined shaft would likely be more tru, but from a performance stand point i just dont see the twice as much price as the C3. The poo system we know is crap against these two, but to make a choice i still lean heavily towards C3. Any one know the weight difference between the two. I noticed mike diddnt comment on a weight, and that seems to be a major goal of theirs. Which brings me to another thought, but not to derail. Why are they using cromoly a arms instead of the titaniums they were using? Love the new look of the hood.

1100 & over 2k to put a belt drive on a belt drive sled...

umm.

Oh yeah, you guys pay $2k+ to get stock reliability out of a motor too, I suppose this seems normal huh?

Sorry, $3-400, MAYBE $500 or so I could see to convert the poo setup over to one of the two, but that's looney.

I was planning on getting a 13 pro this year, but the stinking 12 cat is still sitting on my sled deck just because poo can't figure out how to build stuff with a level of quality most would expect.
