quick clickers.. are you sure??

i only cut the hex down even to the high side of the cam. so it dosnt change.it just allows more thread under the lock nut. with that said i know that you dont have to do anything quick clickers work fine as is. it that i have lathes and a mill so i am always inproving. i also made up spacer plates that fit under the 07-09 800r motors.
 
This is the only way I would consider the quick click. Just not enough threads on the std bolt IMHO. I'm not a machinist and wouldn;t trust myself to machining the stock bolt heads, plus that will weaken the bolt head.

How much longer is the Cudney bolt?

There is no torque on these only the spring force from the quick clicker kit.

i 2nd guess quick clickers... but thought it would be a good idea since i run NOS.

but reality hit the other day blewing a belt to millions and pieces and cord blowing through the hood... knocking 2 of the quick clickers off. well any kind of common sense i had the nuts in the toolkit.

back to square 1!
