questions for m8 owners

1) i just put an slp pipe kit on and it hits my diamond s hood brace. what have you done to remedy this?
2)does the 09's have an accessory power supply behind the steering post like my old 06 m7 did? if not, where are you powering your aftermarket lights from?
i like the idea of pulling power from the high beam circuit, so i can turn them off during the day.thanks

cut down the rubber block under the pipe to lower it down some,i also put some weather stripping around where the hood sits, and yes there is a power supply, right below the ign switch there is a rubber 2 pin plug with 1 black wire plugged into it, unplug the one with the black and you can use the other one for power, i hooked mine into the highbeam circuit like you said, either way works

i just took a BFHammer to the brace, worked fine.. the hood still looks fine
the new hoods are bigger so you don't have to hit

i run a helmet light, ya good idea to pulling power from high beams that's what i did, hell ya

where are you mounting your scratchers on the 08 rails?

Mount em where the front bogey wheels are. If you want to run the front bogey, get the "universal ice scratcher bogey wheel adapter" thingys from SLP which allows you to mount the bogey wheel and scratchers in the same hole. Works slick.
