I have the older G4, from around 2010-2011 year model, before it was a "snowmobile" version. It worked decent, but the voice-activated mic (VOX) was annoying anytime one of the sleds was at WOT. Instead of hearing the person talk, you would just hear the engine. On the other hand though, it was great being able to talk to the other rider, and it was hilarious hearing the grunts and moans when the other rider ate sh!t in the deep stuff! I'm not sure what the difference is between the older model and the snowmobile version though, maybe they fixed that...

Since there doesn't seem to be any real first hand information on these I decided to go ahead and buy one to do a real review on it.

Let us know man, Im really curious to see if there's anything new with the actual snowmobile version. Also, let me know if you get any kind of interference when at WOT. On fuel injected sleds and when on my Harley VRod muscle, which is fuel injected, at WOT I would get really bad interference through the earphones. Thinking EFI had something to do with it maybe. Thanks a lot!
