Questions about Grand Junction Area

Hey I am headed to Grand Junction in April. I'll be there for work, but free for the weekend of the 10th and 11th, so I'm thinking about renting a sled. Are there any good riding areas somewhat close to GJ? And do they tipicaly have ridable conditions in April? If not, does anybody have any other suggestions of things to do in the area for a weekend?

Awesome! Thanks guys. I'll check those out and hopefully can work something out. Might have another guy with me that would want to go. When it gets close to that time I'll check back and see if anyone is intrested in a ride that weekend. Appreciate the help guys!

Mark, Sam here. We did not introduce ourselves yesterday, we should have. We, 5 of us, were in for lunch on Sunday and we talked with you for a while. Your purchase process of the Lodge was quite entertaining. Great lunch BTW. It is really nice to see you turning it around.

We will definitely be back.

Sam, Next time introduce yourself, I have seen your posts many times and figured sooner or later you would be in as it sounds like you ride the Mesa quite a bit. I remember talking with you and am glad you enjoyed the lunch. thanks again, Mark
