questions about a 270 nytro

hey guys i am in the early stages of building a nytro engine for an mcx 270 kit im doing rods an pistons now an i have a few questions. should i just do l/c pistons now an ditch the head shim an if i do this will there be any problems with the way the do there cam timing ? going to be running wiseco's what does everybody recommend for piston clearances and ring gaps ? an what is the compression mcx is achieving with the shim 9.5 or 10.0 or ? .

also does anybody know the part numbers for crower and corillo rods ? i can get them at cost but having a hard time actualy finding the correct part numbers !

bought the sled,used looks like some one tried to cross a river blew the belt an down she went took on some water running an snapped one rod so im changing out the rods for better ones an pistons are cheep so why not !

cant find the part numbers on corillos website for the nytro just the vector,are they the same rod ?
