I am replacing the diamond drive seals on a 2007 M1000 with rev. I have the cover off and the clutch side seal in. How do you get the gears out on the track side? Do you need to drop out the track shaft? Thanks for any help.

Thats not what I wanted. I had some water in the oil so I need to get put the track side seal in. Thanks for the help.

It's a really easy job pulling the DD. Just slack off the track a bit. use an impact and long extension to remove the bolt in the track shaft holding the planetary gears to the shaft. Remove all the bolts holding the case in and take it out.

Really not to bad.
