question on simmons carbides

It is time to change the carbides on a sled I recently bought, and was wondering if anyone has put differnt lengthes carbides on their simmons skis? Like maybe a 4" on the outside and say a 8" on the outside or should I just stay with the same all the way around?

Dunno about different lengths, but someone once suggested that I put the cutter carbides on the outsides and the rounded wear bars on the inside skegs.

I just went with carbide cutters on both.
