My dad just bought a RZR and loves it, but we were wondering about taking the rubber deal off of the primary clutch. So that it would rev a little higher and go a bit faster. Has any one done this? And if so has it affected anything, besides voiding the warranty? Also how much of a difference is their when you take it off?

My dad's got a rzr we did initially take the clutch spacer off after reading of people doing this on an rzr forum. We blew a belt so what we did was take it to a lathe and shaved a few hundredths off. top speed w/ it off was 64ish i do believe, shaving a few hundredths off we're running 60-62 mph.. i've often though it needs a clutch vent like on sleds just my opinion

ya, I have heard that people had no problems and that they have had a few. But nothing so far sounds very major.
thanks,
Brad
