My riding partner bought an 06 800 rev with a nitrous. Its supposedly a 30 horse nitrous. I was wondering what the dangers of harming the engine were. How long can he use it without risking the motor? Thanks for any input.

Make sure you run a little extra octane, 1 gallon of 112 or 2 gallons of AV Gas or Klotz or Torrco octane booster.
DO NOT just run pump gas or your motor will not last long.
If it's a Boss Noss or Boondockers system don't run the button longer then 10 seconds.
Whatever system he has I would go onto their website and get the instructions for it and see what it says.

Want to rebuild your motor WAY sooner than you need too. Just put NOS on it.
3rd season for me on 40hp shot.
replaced the pistons this fall for preventive maintenance
carry a jerry can of race fuel... run a gallon or so in a tank for the nos happy days to reinsure the octane is high enough
dont hold the happy button for longer than 5sec cause i dont feel like rebuild again
have a 20lb refill bottle as well.
one thing i wish i had and should have is EGT guages

Really Redneckj?? that is a video of a 5hp briggs w/ 60 hp of N2O. WTH. is that even comparable to a 140 HP high performance motor running 30-60hp of n2o????. when n2o is set up CORRECTLY and ran as is intended, it is a very safe way to gain lots of HP. im running a BD 50hp shot on my RT, no problems.
