I would like to put a 5" or larger riser on my 99 Mountain Max. I plan on getting a throttle cable extension, but do I need a longer brake cable as well? Also will I need to stiffen my stearing post so that it won't bend?
At 5" you will need the 2 cable set for throttle and oil,
and the longer brake line as well.
I'm pretty sure that you will have to extend out your hand warmer wires.
Do those 1 at a time to not cross them and put a wire loom on when you are done.
It will be really clean and nice that way.
