Question on Handlebar Risers

Can I get away with 3 inch risers without new cables? Or is 2 inch the max?

3.5 worked for me, so 3 should be fine.

i can barely make my 2.5 riser with forward mount work with factory setup. zip tie makes it work but I have EFI. might be different lengths?

I could only get a 2" riser on my 03 900 MC. The 3" stretched everything too much.

2" for myself but I bet I could have went 1/2" higher without problems! 2" is just about right for me, forward post is next. Mike

EFI will allow for a 3" riser, with your carb I think you are limited to a 2". Try this site they are great risers, I and my friends have several.

I ran ole's 3 angled riser without a problem on carbed 900

i guess i forgot to add that I used Oles riser as well with the 6 hole plate
