You are assuming that we don't practice with our avi gear which isn't true. Simply stating that the dangers in the Sierras are not on the same level as those who ride in other Western states.
I am aware of the skier fatality that occurred at Palisades, it was on the news. You have to go back to 2012 however to find the last time a snowmobile caused a slide that killed the rider. It was at Lost Lakes. I do give a **** but also think that if I followed SAC to the letter, I would be stuck in the meadows all day.
