question about track width

I was wondering how if any difference there is between the rmk's 15 inch track and the ski doo's 16 inch wide track. I have always rode the polaris 15 in wide tracks, can you really tell any difference?

im a polaris man but I was thinking about switching to a snowcheck summit x 800 manley because im a bigger guy and the ski doo is alot lighter. I figured the 16 might be a touch more stable in the ditches that is what I maily ride with a trip or to out to the black hills. Does it sidehill as easy as my polaris im comeing off a 01 RMK 800 and I can roll that around pretty good.

Floats alot better. Still does fine in the ditches. And to me it seems like it sidehills the same just my .02

Put a 16 wide on my king, It did float better but i felt it hurt the handling just a bit.

16" Track

I have an 09 Renegade and changed the track to 1.75".
Rode in both West Yellowstone and Big Horns, however the powder was not real deep either place when I was there but it really worked good.
Really like it for trail riding as the renegade has a better suspension and one dealer said he thought they rode better than the summit.

I'm a flatlander from South Dakota so get some ditch riding in also.
