Quantum Velocity's newest project

Here are a few Pics of our latest Build. Thought you might like to see what we have been up to so far this summer. A Custom Apex with Quantum Tunnel , Custom Quantum Twin Scroll turbo, A D Boivin Rear Skid, Timbersled Bark Buster front, Custom Water transfer printing on hood and tank cover and much more.

This thing is making me pray for snow!

I Hope You Like It!

The skid should work fine, once we get it setup. It saves about 18 lbs. over the stock apex skid and allows you to manouver the sled alot more. Because of its flexability.
We have run that tank on three other mid mount setups. Had to get a custom seats made.
Yes it is a snow to air intercooler. same design we ran on our YamaDoo. works great. We took the idea that synergy had and worked on the design and belive we improved it quite a bit. More room in the tunnel, way more surface area to dissopate heat and less pressure drops with our design. It makes for a bit longer plumbing, but no loss in response or performance that we or our customers have seen. We also have a new airbox design that we are using on this sled. more to come on that, once we get to test it in the real world.

Thanks

Tunnel looks sweet with the open boards, does coolant run thru the tubes? Cool idea, if I do another sled, that tunnel is hi the the list.

Sweet! How's the Boivin going to handle the power? :eek::beer;

The ZX2 is TOUGH I beat mine for 2500 miles in my nitrous RX1 trail and lake sled, am now switching it over to my SC'd apex trail sled. I LOVE this skid. The 121" weighs 53 lbs.

I meant will the skid keep the front end planted in steep and deep climbs.

Thats a NICE looking sled! I've been curious about those skids since I saw a few guys running them in revy. I'm not certain about the hillclimb potential since I haven't seen any of the "point and chute" guys running them.

We have installed a few of these skids one in an Apex with a Synergy mid mount. The customer seems to be really happy. He say's it keeps the front down great. We also have one in our YamaDoo. We had to play with it to get it to lift the frontend. I am sure it will work good for this sled.
This setup will be arond the 280 HP range, as it will have a stock motor with a head shim only (for now). This is the customer's first boosted sled, so nothing too radical on the power side yet!
As for the turbo setup, time will tell, as this is the first time we are using this setup. So we gotta wait for that beautiful white stuff to fall again!

Thanks
Jeff
