Is there a technique or a tool to allow the clutch to be disassembled while on the machine? I want to be able to change springs and cams quickly for tuning.

THere is a spring tool that I recommend.. I just replaced mine (with secondary off) without a tool but it was not fun. The spring compresses a loooooong ways. As long as you can get to the four bolts on the back side of the secondary you don't need to take it off. Alot of guys are replacing the torx heads with regualr hex bolts and then you could use a gear wrench to get them off.

Good idea, I should have thought of that!

Since I have a billet secondary adjustor, I cut the original plastic one off flush with the threads. Then I retapped the inner aluminum reducer bushing to fit a long bolt. I put a big washer on the bolt and presto instant QRS secondary tool. Just screw in the plastc adjustor, then tighten the aluminum bushing into the center, this locks it in position, now screw in the bolt with washer. Remove the 4 bols from the back, and slowly back off the bolt. Just be sure the bolt is about 4 inches long or better. Threaded rod would be good choice.
