Try the zip ties higher up. Closers to the top gear. this is what worked for me on a 16 axys putting on pro gears with new belt. took about 5 minutes of wiggling it around and then it just slipped on. You may have to turn the lower or upper shaft to get it lined up better. That's what I did to get it to eventually go on. When it did, it just slipped on easily. I was actually shocked once it went on that smoothly.

ya tried the zip ties again. made the set-up actually too tight. removed the zip-tie, and with just a little finesse, they slipped right on today ??‍

That lower right relief was not on my 2020 sled. Maybe someone with a 2021 can post a better picture of this area for comparison.

i did indeed need to relieve this area as well on my '20 850

I installed the QD2 on my 2020 800 today. 50T gear and new belt. I had a bunch of metal after I started it. The gear interfered with a rib in the back plate. I filed the rib away to clear the contact (pics to follow).

What Golanda did / pic he posted right after this post is what needs to be filed.
