I recently purchased a pontoon boat that was registered in WI
The seller says he has no title.
I was told when I went to register that WI does indeed title their boats & I need the owner to produce one.

Does WI title their boats?

How about MN?

Mafesto, I have had a lot of boats in WI and we never had titles for them. They all come with a statement of origin and then when you register you just get a registration card that is signed and given to the new owner. I will get you the number of my buddy who is one of the largest dealers in WI and have him get to you on what is needed.

Need a title for the trailer though if it came with one of them.
