pwc shorelander trailer modification question

i have a shorelander two place pwc trailer and am looking to modify it so i can remove one pwc and load my quad next to the remaining pwc. has any one done this to your pwc trailer? i would like it to be simple and be able to easily convert back and forth fairly easily. any inputs and or ideas would be greatly appreciated. i do not weld or own a welder so i would have to hire some one to do any welding. by the way i live in the arlington wa area. thanks

Hey Spank, from my experience, you would be much better off to sell the trailer you have and then modify an atv or sled trailer to haul the pwc's. It is much simpler to do it that way than try to go the direction you are thinking. You are seriously hampered by the width of the frame on your existing trailer, where if you had a nice 8' wide deck to work with, you could just build a set of removable bunks to bolt to the deck.

You could probably get a nice used 8x10 tilt deck sled trailer for less than you could sell your watercraft unit for anyway. Then you could just have somebody fab up some bunks for the difference (or close to it).

We do both mods at my shop, but we are quite a ways from you. PM me if you have any questions.
