Putting on scratchers on xp?

Has anybody put on ice scratchers on a xp 154 X, did you have to drill new holes or did you remove any wheels? Any pictures and explanation would help.

I am not sure your bogie wheel placement on the 154, but on my 163 we removed the front set of wheels, (you need to grind off the aluminum rivet) and plced them so they would not interfere wuth rear suspension springs. there is two sets of mounting holes for the those wheels, we used the front ones for the mounting bolt and then drilled the front one for the spring.

I removed both front and back idler wheel when I did mine on my 154. I just drilled out the rivets, it was easier then cutting them off. Here is a picture of mine before I removed the back wheels.

If you leave your front wheels on you have to drill holes. The instructions are on the back of my packing for my scratchers.

Here's another option to consider. http://www.hartmaninc.com/scratchers.html They mount to the skis.They seem pretty slick. $55.00. I ordered a set today. Tom said it would be about a week before they would be here. Good luck.
