Putting motor back in..... A question..

We found a white 2 prong plug that doesnt seem to go anywhere. I know there are others but this one is bothering us.. Anyone know if it goes anywhere?

Where is it located? can you take a photo of it? There are a bunch of connector that don't go to anything under the hood.

that wire doesn 't go to anything.it has been brought up a few times. white oval connector right?

Now, to bleed the oil.. i just hold the oil lever open while idling right? That should pump the air through? I wouldnt think there should be much air, right?

don't idle it! Manual says just fill the oil resevoir (This will cause enough pressure from gravity alone). Crack the bleed screw and let it flow for about 30 seconds. I say 30 seconds or so because if your lines are completely empty, it may take about 30 seconds for the oil to appear. If you have a bubble high in the line, you will see oil flow pretty much the entire time.

It probably wouldn't hurt to runa few gallons of pre-mix for your initial start-up just to be sure that the oil lines are completely bled, better safe than sorry!

add a pint of whatever oil you are running to the first tank of fuel. won't hurt anything and gives you added protection if your sled has been sitting for a while.
It will cause it to smoke a bit more but doesn't hurt anything. IndyDan recommended adding a pint of oil to every tank.

Thanks. When i bleed the oil where does it all go? ahha Is that a drain plug on the bottom of the sled? The round plastic thing? I tryed prying it off but it cracked..

Woo Hoo, is there enough snow to take her out? How is the vibration compared to before putting in the new mounts, any change?

Yeah theres enough snow. i still need to get the scratchers on though.. Any ideas on where to mount them?
Anyways, the vibes seem to be about the same. I was hoping theyed be better but theyre about the same.

Mount the scratchers as far forward on the rail as you can. I mounted mine in the hole the the front idler was originally in.

This iswhere you mounted yours. The suspension is in the way I think..

Yah, mine is mounted in the top hole for that front idler wheel. Timbersled suspension uses the bottom hole for the shock. I don't have any idlers on the rails, I just run the scratchers all the time on the trail. If you look at my photo you can see holes further back were the dealer installed them when all the wheels were one. The only problem with putting them were the dealer had them is that they hit the upper carrier wheels when the suspension was fully compressed.
