Put a Cat Track on Dragon With Avids! Advice Please

I took my old track off my 07 Dragon and went to a 162 Exteme Cat track that I had laying around. After I had it all together I noticed there is no drive cogs on the outside of the windows. I have Avid Extros. Do you folks think this will work with only one side of driver and center cog working or am I going to have problems?

Yes, that will work. I have been running a 162PC for 2 seasons now like that!

Let me rephrase here... You will need to machine the outside cogs off the drivers. If you are not worried about the track you can also grind the little coggs off the outside of the cat track. I just don't think it will work with the drivers hitting those little Cat nubbs on the outside of the track.

Thanks for the help. I see there is another thread similar to mine that was put up awhile ago. I remember reading that thread along time ago and thought I should save it, but never did and then I forgot all about it until this problem came up and lo and behold it surfaced again. I pulled that track off and figured I wait u ntil something else came along but after reading your posts and the other thread I put the track back on and cut the little nubbies off on the outside. I see how it works this weekend.
