Push Turbo Nytro Upgrade

Has anyone here paid the $500 to upgrade the push turbo to the 250 HP? If so how has it worked and and is it as reliable as the push 180?

I have, it worked but I took it a couple steps further and bought mpi's intercooler and pyschosled bridge controller. I still have the push parts which include the manifold with extra injector installed and modified fuel controller I'd sell for a good deal so you could experiment between the two. I ran it for a season and wanted even more power nothing wrong with it.

Did you find what push provided did not run correctly? Why did you go with the extra intercooler? Then did you go with the fuel bridge because the hore hp magnify the fuel bobble?

It ran correctly, what I found was the stock fuel pump was limiting me to 12lbs which is probably all you should run without an intercooler and head shim anyhow. The push fuel controller worked fine but you have to tune on it a bit for elevation or boost changes. The bridge controller with autotune installed along with intercooler and fuel pump upgrade, while expensive has allowed me to run 14lbs with spot on tuning. I don't have a head shim and have stock injectors or I could run more than 14lbs. If your looking for a relatively cheap upgrade to be able to run some more boost, the push upgrade is not a bad option I just like to tinker and my current setup runs extremely well but is much more expensive.

Has anyone done this upgrade and have a recommendation for clutch changes? Push is very hard to reach.... let me rephrase reach at all over a three week period....

Sorry and I ride between 6000 and 12000 feet.....

Call Dustin at outlaw motorsports, he hooked me up with my current setup. He can at least get you pointed in the right direction.

He hasn't dealt with a push kit but I told him how much boost I was running and what the sled was doing. Ride it the way you have it now, if you over rev turn the boost down. You'll probably have to add some weight to the primary as I'm not sure what weights I had in mine.

I know this thread is several months old but I'm wondering how things went? I'm looking to do the upgrade kit now. I have already added an intercooler, just basically for a piece of mind. I run at sea level and in the mountains. Anyone ran 12 lbs at sea level on pump gas?

I ride 7000 and above no intercooler with the push 250 upgrade. .. I mix race fuel to get up to about 97... runs like a rapped ape best thing I ever did.. ran the last half the season no issues...

Is Push even around anymore? I've called them at least 10 times on office and cell without a response.

I could always help you out with upgrades. I helped a few guys last year with upgrading there Push kits. I try to always take phone calls, but I will always return calls and emails.

I upgraded my push kit with mpi's inter cooler and fuel pump upgrade. For fueling went with the power commander set up from physcosled, sled runs awesome now. I had the push upgrade and its a good option if your looking to run a little more boost for not much cost wise.

Matt from mpi is a big help as we'll as moto from pyschosled.
