Push turbo, need opinions

Personally I would buy something that is more proven like Cutler or Twisted if its your first Turbo. Myself and many other have had to rework the Push kits to get them to perform.

I have a Push RG tial kit on my 2010 m8 it runs awesome. I have a ridding partner that has the cheaper push kit lets just say I would never buy that kit(Half price but not even half as good).

BUT like said above If this is your first kit I would probably go with a more popular kit incase you have trouble. If someone you know has a kit go with that kit so you can bounce ideas off one another or which kit has a dealer close to where you ride. I think Push has a top of the line kit but might have a little less r+d to get all the little bugs worked out(I would hate to be the first one with that new vipec because if anyone will have trouble IT WILL BE ME.

Yeah your right! Don't want to be a ginnie pig. I got silber close by and also been doing a bit of reading on the TSS turbo with a boost it box, but I think there is a forum already started on that kit. As for the silber, haven't heard anything on them. Friends have theme on their pro rmk's and work really well. Again I'd be a ginnie pig on that system as well.

If it is your first turbo I would try what ever your local dealer sells or your riding buddies ride. Ovs,twisted, cutler, Boondocker are all proven kits and turbo developers. Enjoy the boost demon!

Stay away form push and there new TBBT junk. We had two of there kits and neither worked all year.

Every cutler kit ive seen has ran very well with very little hassle. For a cat they get my vote, theres lots of local dealers if you have issues, which is a very big plus. Theres nothing worse the having issues and the nearest dealer is 1000's of miles away. They tend not to care what happens once the get your money.

kits.

Ok a kit is a kit the only real difference is the fuel control and map. Push has the cleanest my on the market.

Maybe this year that may be true, he does use high quality parts. But last year the kit wasn't even complete and left lots of fab to the customer to make it functional (it leaves a bad impression when products are released before they are tested or finished). That's not what I would call a highly refined or clean clean kit. JMO

By the way if your are looking at push then I would most definitely talk to MMsports. Very helpful, I bought my stuff form another dealer that was a real disappointment in after install support and MMsports was more then willing to try and help me out.

Okay, I'm off the Push turbo kick, called dealer for it and was told there still isn't a solid base map for it yet! So I narrowed it down to Cutler and TSS with a boost it box. Any body familier with this TSS set up? Cost is the same. Both require a different head.

Good choice. TSS has always been Doo but they did great work with that brand. Cutler is a proven performer on cats, very clean kit and very well thought out. All that i have rode with have been very reliable. Its what I should have bought last year instead of push.

Just to let you know where the ECU/mapping situation is with Push Turbo. We are relasing the production of the ECU this friday, meaning the ECUS will land in canada on the third week of december. Meanwhile, we have m8 prototype ECU and continue to work on mapping so when the ECU land in december, all mapping will be done.....we are waiting on snow right now to finish fueling and extra features. all ignition and compensation done already......basicaly, we need an hour or two on the snow to be done. Hope this clarifies the situtation with arctic cat m800 push turbo kit / ECU.

I would be going with the TSS kit myself, last year at Yamafest they were tearing up the chutes.
They also come with the Boost It box...
Another bonus for you is they are located in BC which can save you a lot of hassle with shipping and the money grab at the border.

So you're saying that PUSH turbo won't be receiving the ecu's to go out with the proclimb kits until, at the earliest, after the 3rd week in December???
Ken recently had told the dealer I ordered my kit from he would be getting a shipment of 125 or so ecu's the first or second week of November. So, which is it? I just want to clarify as to when I can be expecting my Push Turbo kit to be arriving.

well considering your posting the second week of november and ain;t got yer kit i will give ya one guess...

I think with all the kits this winter getting better this year is going to be really intersting on the hill. I have a silber kit coming because I ran one before and I can afford it. That being said the push kit looks sick and I am looking forward to seeing some vids!

We have incorporated in the ECU some new features requesting a new batch of the PCB.....those new features are fixing some design flaws from artic cat( voltage issues) for some additional sensors. Ken is aware of this delay only since yesterday. Well worth the late guys, and the mapping will be conducted soon with our prototype , so you will be up and running as soon as the ECU shows up.

Would you rather get it early and not be right or wait a few weeks and have it work like it is supposed to. This is The aftermarket world. Expect a few delays. It has been like that for a long time. Just take your sled and break it in stock. Better for the motor anyway. I think it will be worth the wait.

I broke my sled in last year and delayed ordering the Push kit until, I thought, they had the ECU completed and tuned. I'm just a little frustrated at having to wait longer.

Have they every fixed the issue so you dont have to premix the fuel. Last years kit was not oil injection ready and I never received any updated parts like promised.
