Push Turbo Dial-In

I just put on my first turbo. pump gas HP Push turbo, and just wondering if there is any obvious dial-in or break in precedures? running 7 lbs boost. (was told putting out 208HP on 08 M8) Not much on the net on Push but look like a nice clean turbo.

push

I Dont know any secret tips but hope you update us and let us know how it works for you. Looks like a nice kit but hard to find much info on them? Good Luck!

Get a hold of mmsports. (Kevin). He is one of the push dealers with tones of turbo knowlage. He should be able to point you in the right direction

Make sure all the coolant line and oil lines are bled and functioning. Run a pinch of oil in your first tank, even if the sled is used it is good insurance. Watch AFR range and stay under 13:1 in the mid and lower and 12:1 on the top. If you are using EGT stay under 1220 degrees.

Take it really easy the first 20 to 30 miles to make sure everything is working right.

Push Turbo dial-in

Ya i bought the turbo through brown's arctic cat dealer in yorkton sk. guys there are good and know what they are talking about. i just threw up a thread to see if any guys found any problems with there turbo's that can be prevented. i just drove it for 20 min(on the flat *** prairies) so far from what i can see it hauls ***, was going about 40 and punched it, skis never touched till 80. very impressed so far.

i got the pump gas HP push turbo, we are running from 6000- 8000ft. i took it to the hills but it never ran that well. talked to the guys at browns and they were saying that they think it was loading up on fuel. i dont have a afr gauge but that is going to be my next purchase.

contact your dealer where you have the kit from

push is fighting with doubeck for a good quality efi, possible that your efi is not working correct.

So you just added 300 to the cost of your kit.

AEM lowered the price of their A/F gauge. You can buy them for A LOT less than $300.

Fuel Presure?

with the box fuel Pressure affects it and when you change elevation that can affect it. Also for some reason the dolbeck box must change with altitude not sure but hear lots of stories about this. Did you have you pre filter full of oil when this was happening also?

Anyway we was hoping for a new box from dobeck that will minus fuel to clean up bottom end but that is NOT going to happen this year either. So hopefully PC can come up with a way for us to adjust the fuel on the hill. I think its a far superior product than what is out there but if we have to carry a computer with us to tune it then its not an option.

Thanks Shane for putting programing in that box one more reason I hate the Dolbeck box.

So much for being able to go to a buddy for help and it not making world news .

Thanks Kevin.:smash:

i hear product tester is fixing push kits for free...even if said push kit went to mmsports for troubleshooting and he was unable to find what was wrong. I also hear product tester fixed it in 5 secs :)
