Push Industries vs Diamond S

People should buy diamond s. He makes a great product and stands behind it. Sponsored riders don't care. They're in it for the money and recognition. You don't turn many offers down in the snowmobile business if you want to make a living. I watched people do the same thing with a snowmobile jack years ago.i think the original one was made in Colorado. People will sell their soul for a dollar

^^ Thats so true. A certain individual named in this thread said the boondocker sidekick would not work in Canada on the 850 NA after he rode it, overreved and set det codes etc.
I installed one on a buddies sled and clutched the sled for our area and didn’t use the recommended setup that BD wanted, the sled ran amazing no issues and it ran pump gas, I was told it wouldn’t work by lots, I am glad it worked out, my buddy put alot of faith in me regardless of the negative hype he was hearing.
I have found Parts are garbage to some because they are not getting a free deal out of it.

I agree with you.................me and a bud recenlty bought Diamond S from Ride Rasmussen for a good deal. As Vice President of an American manufacturing company I try my best to support fellow American business even if it may cost me a bit more. I have ran Diamond S on past NA 850 sleds and always had a good experience. We rode last weekend and once again the Diamond S muffler doesn't dissapoint on the turbo Gen 5. The exhaust tone is a little lower / deeper but not obnoxious. Power feels the same as with the stock can...........no dead spots or quirkyness.....the sleds still run solid hold rpm under load and the weight loss is a bonus. We did some extra heat sheilding the can runs substantially warmer than then the stock suitcase. Just my 2 cents.

Push is a direct rip off of Diamond S, reverse engineered (copied) in china. Pretty sad they couldn’t even change it a little to look like they actually designed it. My guess it’s the same Push who tried to make turbo kits a while back and failed miserably.
This summer/fall when Push showcased them in one of their 'shorts' or 'reels' or whatever short video it was, you could see the cardboard box in the background. Plain as day, made in China.
100% rip off product.

Can you easily attach the muff pot cooker to the Diamond S?

Yes. Given the fact that it is titanium and that does not transfer heat super well I have moved it up onto the pipe coming off the top of the can for better heat transfer.

I can also vouch that Diamond S is a great company. I’ve had buddies that have had minor issues and they’ve done nothing but take care of them. My exhaust probe was a little bit far down on the top of the can and my side panel was putting pressure on it and so during the off-season, they paid to have it shipped back to them and relocated it for me.

Do you keep the stock heat shielding (felt) with the Diamond S?

I was able to add a cooker but it is tight with the temperature probe. I got rid of the stock heat sheilding but put some foam backed heat sheild on the engine side of the muffler against the hoses and thermostat. Its an adhesive backed foam material and I stuck it and zip tied it to that engine side as the stock heat sheild isn't very tight without the big suitcase there. I put that adhesive backed foam heat sheild mateiral on my side pannel and around that bay area of the muffler and it seems to be doing well so far. Going to ride the next two days and we shall see how it does. I bought that heat sheild from Amazon............... this is the stuff ( Link Below ) and seems to hold up well. I used it on the dog house of my jet boat engine bay and it quieted down the engine noise quite well and holds up to the heat well.
