we both have 2010s and he has upgraded to a 2.5 ce and im still stock with the push kiton my 3rd yr with the kit and never put a ounce of race fuel in, never had a hicup

I run the push kit at 9lbs from 4,000-7000ft and put some octane boost in, it's cheap insurance from detonation. Being that low I'd run gauges and put some octane boost in. I just sent my parts off for the upgrade and can't wait to run more boost this year.
yes its a peace of mind knowing you have good fuel tossing in a little boost. you never know when you will get a rotten batch of fuel.

There are quite a few differences between the two. The biggest one I think is the turbos. The Mitsubishi turbo used on the MPI is not a performance oriented one. The push unit is purpose built not an off the shelf product and it spools really fast
i believe so. the MPI has a switch so you can change from low altitude to high riding. the push kit has a fuel controller which i havent experiment yet.

I'm guessing your settings are not all at one. Here are the base settings given to me by Ken at Push.
M-1=2to3
M-2=2
M-3=2
M-4=6
M-5=4
M-6=4.5
These are baseline settings for 8to9psi 4000 to 7000ft
im going for a ride tomorrow, ill take a 2nd look. never have touched the controller since i got built it a few yrs ago
Look on here there has been a few putting on boost controlers. On there mpi kit. That way you do not have to adjust any thing other then a knob.
ok ill take a look. That kinda pisses me off, i wish the MPI would make a extra 20hp on a 180 kit...
The mpi Kit will make the will make 200 just the same as the push 8 to 9 psi of boost is the same no matter the kit. Just as long as you have good fuel and good air fuel numbers.
