Pulling the trigger

So I finally found a setup that I can afford. Think I will pull the trigger this weekend on it. 2012 KTM 350 SX-F and a 2012 Timbersled short track converted to a long track with rail extensions and a ski doo track. Has the 2014 ski and updated bearing kit. Stoked to get it and play.
I do have a question for those who have been riding. What's the best way to use up $500.00 on this bike? heated grips? Thermostat? Fuel map? Thoughts and advice, please include links if you have them.
Thanks in advance.

Does it have a gas can on it? You will need one if not. Cargo bag is nice as well.
Good riding gear is important if you are just getting into the sport.

get a 450. my 450 with a st only goes 48mph. you lose 10mph on the top end with the long track.

Update the outboards skegs
Heated hand grips
Rox risers
Better foot pegs
Rad guards

Should have enough change for a coffee

I'm not overly concerned about top speed. I do like that it is a short track converted to a long so I can put it back if I want to. I spoke with Brett at Timbersled yesterday about it being a 350 with the long on it and he said with my weight it will do just fine. I'm sure a 450 will do a little better but there isn't much power difference between the two. And for riding in the summer on the trails I know I will like the lighter weight 350 a lot better. I have ridden a 450 where we ride at and it's to much in both weight and power for me.

350's actually work really good. Their short comings on dirt are they stall easy, on snow that isn't an issue. Their free revving nature makes them fun to ride.

You'll love it, but I would get an LT even on a 350.

I was actually just wondering if a 350 would be too small myself. I'm looking to get a kit for the wife next year and didn't want to throw her on a 450 in the summer but still have a bike powerful enough for the kit in the winter. Let us know how you make out sounds more promising the more I read. First we've gotta sell a sled haha.
