Pulling airbox

Need to pull airbox off 800 ayxs...for those that have done it any suggestions or tricks on pulling without taking half the sled apart? Thanks

Haven't tried it with just pulling the fuel tank back so I have no idea if that'll work. The last time I pulled the air box out was to check the TPS baseline. I removed the secondary clutch, unbolted the oil tank from the plate (dis not disconnect the oil line though), unbolted the plate and moved it out of the way. I put a rag over the primary clutch and let the oil tank sit on that. I don't recall if I removed the air box or not.

I haven't had one off yet. Is there still velocity stack materials in it ( or noise sticks ) ???

Someone is always gutting them so let's hear about it ?? Any extra air flow from simple mods ,
