Pulled out wire leads

I pulled my motor last night and missed unplugging the Lower PTO side injector wire. It pulled the wire and probes out of the the female side of the plug.
Is there a specific orientation to these? I cant see a stripe on 1 of the wires.
Can I just push these back into the female without worrying which is on righ and which is on left?

Both wires on the injector are black.... You should be fine with either way... simple electro-magnet circuit. (solenoid/pintle)

Make sure the "barb" on the pin is engaged in the socket when you reinstall it so that it doesn't vibrate out.

I had to rotate them to get it to "lock" into the female, but they went in easy and locked right into place...nice and snug.

Thanks for the help. :)

told you..i am always right, lol... ;)

You guessed!!!
You had a 50% chance of being right and you got lucky...unlike that tree you hit......as soon as you started your sled, there was a 100% chance of tree collision. :peep:

Don't forget, my sled is going to look better. It's inevitable.

Also, Check CAREFULLY the chassis-side connector wires (on the harness)

Make sure you did not damage those wires.

Both harness's were zip tied to the fuel line very tightly, so i think that was the pulling point, but I will definitely check.
Is there a way to check if they are good, other than visually?

Dang... DONT zip tie this harness too tight... you can break the wires in the insulation... the 900 harness is pretty darn fragile.

Do a continuity check to the pin in the ECU #1 connector.

Pulling on the harness is what damages it... Heck... you only need to breathe on the TPS connector and it goes.

Carfull with the wires... and you wont have any problems.

I'm confused...ECU is on the sled, motor is on the bench.....?!?

And dealer had them zipped quite tight, I'm thinking I should do a dbl check on all 4.
Should they hang loose or just a loose zip tie to fuel line to keep them in place?

I'm referring the to wiring harness IN the sled... the one that was pulled on hard enough to rip the conector socket off the injejector wires.

While the motor is out.... check out the entire harness... check the stator wires for chaffing and any wire rub thru... check all the wires for chaffing.

When you re install, dont tighten the zip ties super tight... snug yes... but not super tight.

Here is an example of a broken wire INSIDE the insulation on the TPS connector... this is typical of many harness' on the 900/755's...

I'm not saying yours is like this... but it is good to be carefull with the harness... Check the entire harness out now before you put the motor back in.

jeff..
another thing to do while your in there now is..

on the voltage regulator, you will see the fuel tank pretty much smashes the VR wiring...so take out the bottom bolt in the VR and rotate the VR more "straight up and down", now drill a new hole for the bottom bolt...

that will pull the wiring away from the fuel tank and give them room...otherwise the rubbing from the fuel tank will eventually wear through..

also make sur eyou grease the suspension for storage, so nothing gets dried out..

dont forget to do the driveshaft housing, under your secondary ;)
