pull cord

Snapped my pull cord. It's on a late release 2003 mxz rev. It looks like a pain in the butt to get to with it being so tight in the engine compartment and part of the aluminum bulk head in the way.. Is there a easy way to tear this apart to fix or any suggestions would be great before I start tearing things apart.

you don't need to disassemble the recoil to replace the rope (still need to pull from the sled, so that's done). Wind the recoil in the direction that is needed, fish in new rope, tie the handle on and let the rope get pulled back in. Done this to a few sleds (mine included).
