I got a 144x2 series IV track and it is only punched every third window. Is id possible/easy to punch out the other windows and clip it to be able to run extroverts?

yes it is. There is a place that can punch them out for a couple hundred bucks or I just took my time and cut them out with a utility knife. Taking my time was so that I didn't end up in ER getting stitches or worse.

I used a 1 1/4 in hole saw and cut them out. you don't need clips.

punching

i used a 1" wide wood chisel and a hammer,a 2x4 on edge over 2 saw horses worked well to hammer the chisel into,i did my 159 in about an hour and fifteen ,good luck

Do a web search for track porting tool.Cost is about 30.00 and it drills and melts the port so it doesn't frey.Safest way

Did the same on a Polaris track and ran it on my son's 151 ZX with extroverts. Worked great and did not add any clips. Just try not leave any ragged edges. No problems.
Motor blew and now track is on friends Mountain Cat 800. He loves it.

Same here - the wood chisels worked great. Did not add clips and it worked fine.

did this last year @ about 10pm before leaving for laramie @ 2am due to a rail through my other track. We had a 1" hole saw and a sharp utility knife. Worked great, didn't' clip any of the windows and had no problems
