Never had a problem with it riding up. I wear mine under my coat in the mountians. My snocross tekvest I wear over the jacket. I can definately say it takes a few rides to get used to but once you do you feel naked with out it.

Holy crap! Glad she was ok, other than the broken leg! Exactly when to bail is something I still need to learn as well.
Femur was shattered. It was a long 8 months of recovery, but she is ready to go again she says. Says she will be probably just trail riding for a year or so tho. Took a look at those asterisk knee braces. Them are awesome looking. Much better than hockey knee/shin guards. Pricey but damn nice.
Tekvest and ABS pack?
I have been thinking about purchasing a Tekvest this season but I wear an ABS pack. Will the ABS15 interfere with the vest? Anyone one here ride with both?

Tekvest freestyle w/ shoulder pads (most of the time, they come off when it's warm in the spring), Thor Force knee guards. Tekvest-tekvest is the same as the Klim-tekvest, just without the Klim name or pricetag.
Never had an issue with the vest riding up. With a pack on that'll keep it down if something you're doing would make it ride up.
Picked up a Snowpulse airbag this year, ahven't ridden yet but I don't forsee any problems with vest and pack interference. Did have to readjust where I kept my beacon due to the larger waist strap on the pack.

I have the free ride pack. There is no problems. It would be nice if you didn't have to wear either but that is not an option for me. You are a little bound up but you get used to it and then you don't notice it. Isn't the 15 a little heavy? I got the smallest one and I will let the sled pack anything else I need. I can't imagine the 30.
I wear the ABS 15 and the tekvest..took a little getting used to but totally comfortable and I now feel naked when I take off either(I will allow others to wear both when they climb just incase something were to happen)my kids also wear tekvest and they have benefitted from the vest even more then I have....I think a vest is a very very good idea for all riders...
