4 shirts shipped out yesterday. I wasn't at the shop today so I am not sure on the count for today. I will update this thread tomorrow with a new count.
For those of you that have purchased them, THANK YOU for your support.:beer;

Sounds like a healthy profit margin with an additional 5 bucks tacked on for SAWS or whomever. Not flaming ya... but I just love the "charity" twist on stuff like this...

Yah..... reminds me of the selling popcorn... cheese and what not..... I always give directly, that and time are the best means of supporting what you think is important IMO..

WOW, it never ceases to amaze me:mad:

I would completely agree with you if they were buying the cheapest shirt possible in volume, but that is not the case. They are purchasing good quality shirts at low volume as they are a very small company. The profit margin is very low in this case, but you are more than welcome to think what you like.

I personally am making absolutely nothing on the sale of these shirts and am only promoting them as a way of raising funds to help fight the fight.

Being that I volunteer my time to help keep our riding areas open makes me feel good and I can sleep at night.

Alot of time and consideration went into creating a product that could be used as a voice for all motorized recreation. It's about marketing a message, as well as a way to raise funds. Not about profit margins.

They are being promoted towards all motorized recreationalists.

At the end of the day - the message is the same - no matter how you like to use public lands. Public Lands means Public Access. Period.

If you or others buy shirts - Great! If you or others just give directly - Great! The point is to raise awareness and money. I don't care how anyone goes about supporting access rights - just as long as they do it. :)

Have you supported your right to ride today??

PS: Thanks for those who are buying shirts and helping to promote the message!! ;)

Good for you that you contribute directly...maybe you can come up with a better way to get people to do the same!!!!!!

I have NO affiliation with these shirts but I saw them and thought it was a great idea to get people to help contribute since 90% don't or even members for that matter.

Maybe you want to start a thread and ask people to donate $5 and see what kind of numbers you get.

I guess my comparison was a little harsh... and not correct. Sorry for coming off kind of prickish...

My only issue is that someone will buy a shirt thinking they are spending money for a good cause, when the cause would benefit greater from them just giving directly....

Good point. Though what does that really say about us? Like giving to pbs and they send you a backpack. I don't get that either...

I agree with you 100% but people want something to show for their money PLUS the shirt makes a good statement so in my eyes it's a win win.

I WANT every greedy azz greenie in my area to see my shirt and know that I'm pizzed off and that they better keep their berkinstalk wearin Subaru drivin azz away from me. You never know with enough people walking around with them on it just might change a few peoples minds.

The greenies have more organizations then we even know about that support Wilderness and we have like TWO! We need to be double paying our orgs. just to keep up with them. Plus with this GOING GREEN FAD getting so big we don't stand a chance in HE!! if we don't all start standing up for our right to ride.
