Has anyone installed protapers from the 09-10 models on the 08 dragons? I have a set of protapers coming but wanted to know what else was needed to be down in order for everything to work. I know all the controls are in different locations than the 08. Anyone do this swap yet?

Pretty sure you will need to adapt from a "T" post(08) to a flat post type of deal(09-10). Or have a really high high-rise.
ya somehow you have to adapt your t post to a flat top post.
You don't need to adapt anything. You just have to use a shorter riser and it'll work fine. I did it on my 08 Dragon and used the stock riser off of a 07 600 rmk. I'll post up some pics for you.
Or two polairs clamp blocks bolted together....
Like vertical800 said, you pick the riser of your choice and go. I used the short one on my 09 700 when I put on Pro Tapers. I also used the high output heaters and just rat-tail filed my LH control to move it as far to the right as possible. Make sure you route your throttle cable properly so you don't get throttle steering. YMMV.

You almost need a different brake resi and lever, like the one off of a iqr. Had the same problems with the doo controls need the race dept. hand brake.

ive seen a guy with a 900 that has the big brake block on his, its alright....... polaris thinks everyone must have 3 fingers like the simpsons with the width of thier grips.
my edge has 1" wider stock grips than my iq rmk......my pinkys freezes being on the hooks all the time
