Props to B&M Fabrication! A+ Service

Just thought I'd share my experience with y'all involving B&M Fabrications. After searching dealers coast to coast for a set of Airframes after missing out on two sets because of my own incisiveness. So, I contacted Bryan at B&M to see what they had in stock. He said, "I'll have them out within a week." And, that included me asking for a different color powder than what is stock! The boards showed up, Bryan sent me a PDF with color install instructions that were straight forward and easy to follow. The overall quality, fit and finish was/is awesome! I can't wait to field test and report back. But, to the point, this is what other aftermarket parts manufacturing companies should strive for as far as customer service goes. I will tell anyone who is looking for boards to contact these guys first. Thanks guys!

Just the weight of standing on the traction screws will keep you from slipping. They send 100 + screws with the kit and I didn't use about a dozen of them. I don't see ever needing more than what I used, but we'll see next fall when the powder is deep again.

those with B&M boards should post some a pic of the high quality boards after install. Any book worth reading has pics :face-icon-small-win

Ask and you shall receive :D

That is such a BadA$$ looking sled, you should post pics of that thing all over. I read your build thread and saw you didn't get to ride much but are they noticably stiffer than stock boards? I'm sure they shed snow well but do you think its necessary to wrap the tunnel sides so snow doesnt build up where the tube meets the tunnel? Hows the support on the rear drop bracket? Thats one thing I've wondered about with all these tube boards that are out now...

thanks for the pic :face-icon-small-coo

No, my back injury kept me down and out for the year, but "shop testing" the strength and stiffness showed that the boards are much stiffer. They still mount to the stock drop bracket and toe pocket as well as adding another bolt on the back where the outer edge of the board mounts to the side of the tunnel. Time will tell, but if you bend one of these, chances are that something else is bent too and the stock boards would have bent much sooner.

That is a sweet looking sled man!

I too have the B&M boards on my PRO and love them! I rode most of the winter on mine and never had any issues. The best Part is you don't have to kick to remove the snow, just step on the snow and it slides off (super deep days .)

different seat

That's a great looking sled. I noticed that the seat looks a little higher. Is that a stock seat with different fabric or a custom seat.

Smart wrapping the tunnel. Only kicking I do now with airframes is the snow sticking to the stock raw aluminum tunnel which gets pretty bad at times.

Great looking sled!!! Definitly one of the best yet on here. Another thumbs up for me too on the B&M boards I love mine!
